A 24 hour programming hackathon with teams of up to 4 people.
Located on the picturesque campus in Forth valley, flanked by the Ochils, the University of Stirling.
Saturday and Sunday the 11th and 12th of February 2016 from 10:00 Saturday till 16:00 Sunday
Hackathons are great fun! They're a chance to meet new people, develop exciting projects and even get some professional industry contacts.
We are proud to be an MLH Major League Hacking partnered hackathon. Our hackathon abides by the MLH Code of Conduct.
Do I have to pay anything?
No, the event is completely free to attend! (However it looks like we will be unable to provide any travel support)
What size of teams are allowed?
Team sizes can be up to 4 people, of course you can always have fewer!
Do I need a team?
Some people will have organised themselves into teams before the event, but many won’t have or may only have partial teams. Don’t worry if you’re on your own, once you’re at the event, we can help you pair up with other hackers to make an awesome team!
What should I bring?
You’ll need a laptop, or some kind of device you can program on. You might also want to bring a toothbrush/toiletries. Make sure to have your student ID and your Eventbrite ticket (you can do this digitally) with you too.
What about food?
We'll be providing meals, snacks, and drinks at the event!
How do I get there?
You can get to Stirling rail station directly from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen or Dundee. The university is located just outside of town. From the station, a 2 minute walk to the bus stop, and then the UL, 54, or 62 buses will all take you to the university (It's looking like we will be unable to provide any travel support).
Who can participate?
MLH Hackathons are open to any student currently enrolled in full time higher education. Graduates who graduated less than a year ago may also attend.
